Families with young children enjoyed Saturdays in the Park offered by Strong Communities this fall in Williamston’s Mineral Spring Park. Every Saturday in September and October, volunteers were on hand in one of the park shelters to read a story and then lead parents and children in a related craft. The special Saturdays gave parents and children an opportunity to enjoy time together as they worked on their craft projects.
