Mission:
To provide efficient and accurate accounting services, financial advisement, and exceptional customer service to ensure that all departments within the Division of Student Affairs operate in a fiscally responsible manner.
Goals and Initiatives:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and conduct Kaizens where appropriate to eliminate process waste.
- Develop consistent policies and application throughout the division wherever practical.
- Conduct division-wide training and communication as new policies and procedures are developed.
- Support the Division of Student Affairs through consistent and accurate reporting and forecasting.
- Work with Student Affairs decision makers to ensure that the decision is optimally utilizing its resources
Vendor Registration
As part of our eProcurement implementation, Clemson University Procurement will be transitioning to a new Vendor Registration tool. Effective 2/18/08, the link that vendors currently use to register will no longer be active. Instead that link will take them to our new site for vendor registration. Procurement will be communication with all current, active vendors asking them to re-register at this site. Re-registering will help us ensure that we have accurate contact information for vendors we do business with- this is critical for success of eProcurement when we go live.
