An evolution is underway at Clemson University. Since 1976 the Edgar A. Brown University Union has been a place for students to gather on campus. The term "The Union" has come to mean much more than the building itself - it embodies the very essence of student life at Clemson. On March 27, 2000 a new student center named Hendrix Student Center was completed. Hendrix now houses many of the entities synonymous with student life including new spaces for students to collaborate and grow as members of the Clemson community. |

The evolution continues as new plans are developed for core campus. The site currently hosting Edgar A. Brown University Union will become the home of a new commons area slated for completion in 2010. |
