Purpose:

The Student Affairs Employee Recognition and Appreciation Committee is committed to recognizing the more than 400 staff members for their hard work and dedication to not only the Division of Student Affairs, but to Clemson University as a whole.  We aim to create and provide an enjoyable, motivating atmosphere for division employees.  Whether it is our annual holiday social, a Wii league, departmental contests, monthly spotlights in a newsletter, or collaborating with other University departments to offer discounts, our goal is to appreciate our division staff for their time, energy, and positive attitudes.  Without the extraordinary individuals in the division, Student Affairs would not be as we know it.

Goals:

• Create and provide a low-cost, fun, motivating atmosphere for division employees;
• Establish a S.T.A.R.S. program to recognize individuals who have gone above and beyond;
• Recognize and spotlight departmental projects and events; and
• Incorporate employees' families into an appreciation event.
