Clemson University Police Department Joins In With "Buckle Up SC"

The Clemson University Police will be participating in the "Buckle Up South Carolina program. The SC Department of Public Safety will lead the Buckle Up, South Carolina. It is the law and it is enforced mobilization this Spring.

Local and state law enforcement agencies will partner with other highway safety advocates for an enforcement and education emphasis from May 23 through June 5, 2005. Law enforcement in our state will focus their patrols in enforcement zones. Officers will be patrolling these areas, looking for motorists who commit traffic law violations that lead to traffic crashes. These officers will also be looking for motorists who violate South Carolina occupant protection laws.
