The Records Section handles all reports generated by the Clemson University Police Department.
Our purpose and goal is to provide 100% customer service to both our internal and external customers. The Section does this by storing, retrieving, reproducing and delivering reports to all of our customers alike.
The hours of operation for the public are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The Records Section is closed on weekends and holidays.
To obtain a copy of an accident report, you may request it through the mail or in person at our customer service window located at Centennial Boulevard. You must provide a name of a person involved in the accident, the location of the accident or the date of the accident. Having the Police Report Number is very helpful. Reports are usually available 3 to 5 working days after the accident. There is no charge for accident reports for students, faculty or staff. There is a $2.00 charge for accident reports mailed to insurance companies. Call (864) 656-5265 for further assistance. We cannot release information about the accident over the telephone.
