Graduate Assistantships

Welcome to the Division of Student Affairs!

We are excited that you have taken the time to look at graduate assistantship opportunities in the Division of Student Affairs at Clemson University.  Here you will find information relevant to applying for an assistantship.  Be sure to check out information on Student Affairs located here, including a message from our Vice President for Student Affairs, Dr. Gail DiSabatino.

Academic Program

Most assistantships in the Division of Student Affairs require you to be a full-time degree, seeking student.  Most students are enrolled in the Master of Education - Student Affairs program.  We encourage you to investigate our program to ensure that it will meet your needs as a student. Also, please keep in mind that if you are offered a position as a Graduate Assistant, you must have been accepted and offered admission by the Graduate School. If you do not meet the standards of the Graduate School and/or the individual program in which you are interested, you may not accept a graduate assistantship.

Candidates must apply to the Graduate School before March 1, 2009.  If you are offered a position before you are accepted, keep in mind that the offer is contingent on your acceptance to the Graduate School and your specific program of study.
