Online Housing Application for Accepted Students
While any web site visitor may read this introductory information, only accepted students are allowed access to the actual application (it is login protected). Access may also be restricted by the type of student (freshman, transfer, etc) depending on the time of year.
As a newly accepted Clemson University student, you will use this process to apply for campus housing, sign your contract (lease agreement), pay your housing application fee, and submit your location and roommate preferences.
Once you have applied for housing, you may also revisit this site at any time (until May 1) to update/change any of your preferences. If you have any questions about this process, or have any problems using the online application, please refer to our New Student Application FAQ.
Also, all new students should review the appropriate link.

USERID and CUID
First, you need to understand some new lingo. These terms will apply to you throughout your Clemson career.
Term |
Description |
|
USERID |
Upon acceptance, you are assigned a Clemson University computer user identification. This is a permanent, unique-to-you identifier that you will use every time you access the Clemson computer network. You may also see or hear it referred to as your User Name. |
|
CUID |
This is your Clemson University Identification Number. It’s a unique, nine-digit number that serves as your student ID number. |
IMPORTANT: Be sure to memorize these two unique identifiers immediately. You (and your parents or guardians) will be asked to provide one or both of them anytime you inquire about, or attempt to do, anything at Clemson!
