First Year Experience
Making Clemson your home will be an exciting part of your first year experience. The Department of Residential Life is committed to assisting you through this transition. We have developed a comprehensive program to assist all first year students living in our residence halls. From locating your classes to getting along with your roommate, our First Year Experience (FYE) program is here…for you!
The FYE program has four primary components: Civic Engagement, Academic Achievement, Community Development and Interpersonal Development. We work with our campus partners to promote the resources, services and opportunities available to you and when you take advantage of them will significantly impact your success in the first year.
