- Parking is available in the R-1 parking lot. Please display the provided parking pass mailed to you in your Confirmation packet when parking in Orientation Parking.
Flight Information
Airports:
- Greenville/Spartanburg International Airport (GSP)- approximately 45 minutes from Clemson
- Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL)- approximately 2 hours from Clemson
- Charlotte International Airport (CLT)- approximately 2 hours from Clemson
When scheduling flights, keep in mind your travel time to and from Clemson and the airport. Freshmen Orientation check-in is from 8:00-10:00 a.m. on day one and concludes no later than 3:00 p.m. on day two. Transfer Orientation check-in is from 8:00-10:00 a.m. and concludes no later than 5:00 p.m.
Airport shuttles:
An airport shuttle is offered as a vendor service outside of the University from all three airports. Shuttle arrangements can be made by calling 1-800-669-6463.

Accommodations
Parent/guest on-campus housing is NOT provided. Orientation Area Accommodations specials have been arranged with local hotels for parents and guests convenience. Please view our Orientation Area Accommodation Specials for more information and hotel contact numbers.
Early Arrival Accommodations for Students
If you need to arrive to Clemson a day early, you will be able to request Pre-Orientation Housing as an option when you complete the online registration process. Please be aware that there is an additional $20 fee for students who register for or check-in to Pre-Orientation Housing. Pre-Orientation Housing check-in will be from 3:00-7:00 p.m. the afternoon prior to your assigned Orientation session. The $20 fee is refundable only if the student does not check-in and receive a room key to Pre-Orientation Housing.
Students attending Late Orientation in August and have an on-campus housing assignment will be contacted by New Student & Sophomore Programs with move-in details. On-campus housing will not be provided in conjunction with Late Orientation to those students NOT residing in University Housing for the fall semester.
