Carl Walker, Inc. specializes in parking consulting, structural engineering, and restoration engineering. We currently employ a staff of approximately seventy people including parking specialists, transportation engineers, structural engineers, and technical support personnel. Our staff has been involved in completion of hundreds of parking studies, restoration projects and design of new multilevel parking facilities. We are currently serving as parking consultants, prime designers, and structural engineers in projects throughout the United States. Carl Walker operates full-service offices in Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Indianapolis, Kalamazoo, Philadelphia, Phoenix and Tampa.

Since inception, parking has been our only focus and is reflected in our mission statement:
“Providing creative parking and engineering solutions of superior value.” Our goal is to provide the highest quality planning and engineering services in a timely manner by a staff committed to technical excellence, timely action, and the highest integrity. To maintain our technical leadership, members of our staff are active participants in a number of professional and technical organizations. Continued upgrading of our technical skills combined with innovation, vision, and the latest technology helps to assure the maximum benefit of our efforts accrues to our clients.

Carl Walker has staff available for this project that are uniquely qualified to provide organizational, planning, management, financial and engineering expertise coupled with extensive experience in direct parking management. The project team includes staff members who have been responsible for managing large parking systems and who understand parking dynamics from direct experience. This adds special insight in analyzing current policies and procedures and in evaluating prospective solutions and strategies.

UrbanTrans Consultants, Inc. (UrbanTrans) is an urban and transportation planning firm with offices in Washington, D.C., Denver, Atlanta and Seattle. UrbanTrans specializes in innovative transportation solutions, with a focus on multi-modal transportation planning, demand management programs, market-based policies, stakeholder outreach and strategic planning, and work site transportation programs. Additionally, UrbanTrans is a pioneer in integrated mapping systems and web-based transportation applications. Clients include public agencies, commercial developers, special-purpose districts, metropolitan planning organizations, employers and transportation management associations (TMAs).

UrbanTrans has a reputation for developing effective, nontraditional transportation solutions that maximize the performance of existing transportation investments and enhance travel options. Our philosophy is that increasing the availability and viability of convenient travel choices for all travelers’ benefits communities, employers, developers, and citizens by reducing transportation infrastructure spending, alleviating congestion and improving air quality. Developing a balanced, multi-modal transportation system also supports more efficient and flexible land use alternatives for both public agencies and commercial developers.

Connetics Transportation Group, Inc. is a small-sized transportation planning firm, comprising a highly experienced group of transportation professionals. Our firm specializes in transit systems and operations planning, transportation financial and economic analysis, ridership forecasting, and comprehensive long-range transportation planning. We provide expertise on long-range systems and corridor projects (such as FTA Section 5309 New Starts projects) and short-range transit service planning projects (such as Comprehensive Operations Analyses and Transit Development Plans). While based in Atlanta, we also have employees and offices in Los Angeles, Orlando, Denver and the San Francisco Bay Area. The firm is woman-owned, and our list of Disadvantaged/ Women Business Enterprise (D/WBE) certifications is constantly growing. Most of Connetics’ members have been practicing transportation planning over the last 20 years, in both the public and private sectors. Connetics was incorporated in February 2005 by key employees of Manuel Padron & Associates, Inc. (MPA).
