Visitors must display a valid guest parking permit to park on campus except when parked for less than three hours in areas specifically designated as visitor or timed spaces, or areas designated as public parking for a special event. A parking citation can be issued for an expired meter or parking overtime in a timed space. Maximum time limits for parking meters are posted on each meter and may vary by location and time of day.
Parking permits for visitors can be obtained from three locations:

Visitor Parking Permit information can be found on this site under Parking Permits
For additional parking information, visit the Parking Services Web site or call (864) 656-2270.
Free Shuttles
Free shuttle service is available from the large parking lots to the central part of campus. The service operates Monday through Friday, and on Sunday, running approximately every 10 minutes.
Accessible Parking
Disability Access Parking is available in various campus locations, indicated by blue stripes on the pavement and the international symbol on the pavement and sign. A valid state-issued disability access parking permit must be displayed in addition to the employee, student or vendor parking permit. To allow time to obtain a state-issued permit, a University-issued permit is available for a maximum of four weeks by providing a copy of the state application form, signed by a doctor. University-issued permits are not valid in off-campus disability access spaces.
