Course Description:
The Department of Graphic Communications has course credit set up for Creative Inquiry through GC CI 199, 299, 399 and 499. Within this CI team, freshmen to graduate students will be recruited from the College of Business and Behavioral Science. Students will research marketing techniques and integrate these techniques with the variable data options available. The class will seek out opportunities within the Division of Student Affairs to assist in the design and implementation of variable data projects for departments or offices already mailing promotional material. The projects will be designed as individual research projects each measuring the value created by the use of VDP when compared to a control group receiving a conventional static promotional piece.
