After Hours Medical Attention and Emergency Care
In an emergency, call 911. On campus medical emergencies are transported by the University ambulance to the appropriate community medical resource. The University ambulance is staffed with certified emergency medical personnel 24-hours a day. Students are required to pay for off-campus ambulance transportation except when transported to those medical resources within the city of Clemson for after-hours urgent care. Students requiring the care of a physician after-hours can choose from area emergency rooms and urgent care facilities at the student's expense. These local facilities include:

Counseling & Psychological Emergency
Emergency services are available on a 24-hour basis. During normal office hours you can call CAPS directly 656-2451. After hours and on weekends you can call CU Public Safety 656-2222 and ask to speak with the CAPS on-call counselor. The dispatcher will take down your first name and number, and have the on-call counselor call you right back
