Counseling and Psychological Services

Group Services

Counseling and Psychological Services conducts a number of psychotherapy and psycho-educational groups each semester. Research has shown that group therapy is treatment of choice for a number of problems and situations and a helpful adjunct for many others. The themes of groups offered most semesters are personal growth, enhancing interpersonal relationship skills, coping with adjustment to college, and coping with anxiety in social situations. Support and psycho-educational groups are also routinely offered. These include support groups for graduate students, LGBTQ students, and mindfulness groups to teach skills for coping with stress.

Please call (864) 656-2451 for the days and times for the groups offered this semester.
