On the third Thursday of November, Health Promotion Services sponsors events to promote the Great American Smokeout which is a nation-wide challenge for tobacco users to kick the habit. CU QUIT is a campus-wide initiative that helps students kick the tobacco habit in conjunction with the Great American Smokeout.
The event is free to all members of the university community.
The Great American Smokeout is sponsored by the Health Promotion Services, the Peer Health Educators (PHE’s), Clemson University Student Government, Clemson University Residence Hall Association, the Student Health Advisory Committee (SHAC), and The American Cancer Society.
