Our professional health educators and our student group of Peer Health Educators (PHE’s) are happy to come to your student organization or class to lead wellness and prevention programs. We visit dozens of CU101 classes each fall, lead many discussions with sororities and fraternities and other student organizations, and help Resident Assistants with their hall meetings. We also offer a program called “Don’t Cancel that Class” that encourages faculty to call upon us when they have a scheduled time that they are required to be away. We tailor our presentation to the needs of the students and evaluate each session to insure that we are meeting the desired goals and objectives through our presentation.
Topics include alcohol responsibility, sexual responsibility, stress and sleep management, nutrition and how to eat well in the dinning halls, and many others. Campus groups may request a presentation by calling (864) 656-0141.
