Why do you work in college health?

I think I can make some contributions that may improve the health and the well being of college students. My job keeps me challenged to learn and be on top of the current issues regarding student life.

What do you do in your spare time?

I love gardening, growing vegetables, herbs, and flowers, walking every day, and practicing yoga. I am working toward a degree by distance learning. I also enjoy reading Persian literature and poetry and I of course love cooking and baking. I am also the mother of two Clemson graduates who are doing well in serving their communities in school and health care.

Why do you choose to work with college students?

I love working with students because it is such an exciting and challenging time in their lives. I feel invigorated by the students' energy and by their enthusiasm for life.

What do you do in your spare time?

I spend my free time with my family, my husband Kevin and our son Jamie. Out first love is music, and we are as involved with all aspects of music as we can be. We also love to hike in the mountains, swim in the Chattooga River.

Why do you choose to work with college students?

I have worked with the college population as a volleyball coach and now as a health educator.  I look forward to seeing students every day as they grow and mature into our future leaders.  It’s an exciting time to be at Clemson!

What do you do in your spare time?

Spend time with my family and friends. My husband Dave and I love to go hiking, play tennis, walk around campus, and watch movies. I also love watching Tiger sports!! (Especially volleyball)
