Redfern Health Center

Meet The Staff

Redfern encourages students to participate actively in their health care decisions. Students may choose a primary health care provider to coordinate your health care needs. You may change providers at any time during your university experience-just let us know.

Questions to consider when choosing and evaluating a healthcare provider:

Do you:

  • prefer a male or female provider?
  • have a good relationship with your provider?
  • feel comfortable with your provider and your treatment?
  • feel like a partner in your health care?
  • feel comfortable asking questions?

Does your provider:

  • understand your concerns?
  • have time to answer all your questions?
  • fully explain your condition so you can understand your body?
  • discuss your condition and treatment options thoroughly?
  • give you information on how to take preventive measures in caring for yourself?
