Graduate School Orientation

Welcome to Clemson University! The graduate school orientation program at Clemson University provides the information and resources to ensure a successful transition to your graduate studies. The program promotes discussion on campus community and graduate education among all graduate students (masters, doctoral and post-doc) alongside faculty and staff. Each new degree-seeking graduate student is encouraged to attend orientation.

2019 Spring Semester

Graduate school orientation for students accepted into the 2019 spring semester is scheduled for Monday, January 7, 2019 from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Lunch is included. All new students are strongly encouraged to attend. If your program is on an innovation campus, a satellite campus or online, there will be a virtual ticket option; we anticipate that web streaming will be provided for most of the program.

There is no fee to attend. This program is intended for students; if guests attend with you they will follow the student program. Pre-registration for the session is required.

International Orientation

The International Orientation program is separate from graduate school orientation, yet both are helpful for graduate students from outside of the United States. For more information and the schedule of International Orientation, please visit International Student Arrival Guide. There is important information for you on this page, including information about International Orientation.

New Student To Do List

The graduate school has prepared a New Student To Do List of items to complete prior to coming to Clemson for orientation and items to complete as soon as you arrive on campus. Please visit Newly Accepted Students on the graduate school website to review the To Do List.
