BROTHER 2 BROTHER

Brother 2 Brother

Brother 2 Brother, Clemson University's chapter of the Student African-American Brotherhood (SAAB), focuses on the success, retention and graduation of Black and Hispanic/Latino males. B2B is a dynamic organization established specifically to assist our participants to excel academically, socially, culturally, professionally and in the community. SAAB is primarily comprised of male students who strive for academic excellence and make a commitment to plan and implement programs that benefit their community at large. We encourage our participants to embrace leadership by being positive examples for each other through a strong commitment to academic achievement, brotherhood and community service.

We provide developmental general body meetings, study sessions, social activities, service to the community and promotion of positive images of Black and Hispanic/Latino men. We have also a group of dedicated staff advisers and supporters of B2B that will work with our active members to support their growth and success at Clemson and beyond as outlined in their personal development plan.

Our Mission

Brother 2 Brother is a student led initiative at Clemson University that prepares men of color for their roles as citizens and leaders through community-based educational and service experiences. Active members of Brother 2 Brother are engaged in a meaningful way, through promotion of academic achievement, character building, fostering leadership skills and encouraging empathy and civic responsibility for all students on Clemson's campus.
