Tunnel of Oppression (2013 attendance: 225)
Tunnel of Oppression is a multi-facitated event, incorporating a tour through various rooms, highlighting the unfortunate discrimintation that takes place among our peers. The goal is to raise questions on how we as students respond to the shown situations in our daily lives and to make the Clemson Student Body more aware of it’s history of integration.
Semester End Study Breaks (2012 attendance: 125+)
In the fall, the event takes place indoors and is catered through various locations on campus. Students can participate in board games, card games, and other stress relieving activities. In the spring, the event takes place outdoors featuring a cookout, music, and“tailgate" games.
”Y-Beach Field Day (2012 attendance: 150+)
This event allowed all kinds of students to participate in fun activities while interacting with a diversity of students in the student body. At the Y-beach field day CODA sponsored Tiger Transit vans to take on campus students without transportation to Y-beach. CODA provides a snow cone machine that is free to all students in attendance. Additionally, CODA supplies water balloons/water guns for a water fight, corn hole, and beach volleyball. Other outdoor activities are coordinated by each attending outdoor organization inattendance.
Day of the Dead (2012 attendance: 200+)
Day of the Dead gives students the chance to experience Latin culture through one of their important holiday celebrations.
