Something that isn’t talked about very frequently but needs to be brought up happens to every 1 in 4 women throughout their college career. It may never be easy to bring up, but it is something that needs to be talked about, especially on a college campus. Due to recent events, we have seen that sexual violence is present on Clemson’s campus. Starting the first week of February, CUSG is releasing an initiative to educate and help prevent this from happening. We are calling all men to step forward and take action against this rarely talked about subject and help protect the Clemson Family. The first week of February there will be certain events happening to promote awareness about sexual violence. Look for a wall on Library Bridge Friday, February 7 to write your testimonial or sign your name to promote a violence free campus. Visit http://facebook.com/protectmyclemsonfamily
