Creative Inqury

Creative Inquiry is an undergraduate research program that is unique to Clemson University. More than 350 Creative Inquiry teams are actively working on Clemson University’s campus with more than 3,000 undergraduates involved during the last school year alone. From designing new medical devices to monitoring cyberbullying, students are taking part in life-changing projects every year. In the course of this research, they experience travel abroad to locations such as Tanzania, Haiti and Dominica. They are driving innovation and applying for patents and presenting their findings to industry professionals at numerous conferences.

Get Involved

Review the comprehensive list of active projects to find a team that interests you. Search by a topic, department or the name of a faculty member. When you find a project of interest, contact the faculty member directly to find out how to join the team. Most projects require permission from the faculty team leader. Creative Inquiry is available to every undergraduate student, and anyone can suggest a new project.
