What is the purpose of the SURE program?

During the Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE), college students engage in wireless communications research under the supervision of a leading faculty researcher in the field.

The SURE program allows students to do the following:

• Collaborate with faculty mentors on research topics of current interest in wireless communications.
• Attend seminars on a variety of topics in wireless communications.
• Experience 10 weeks of graduate-level research before making a firm commitment to graduate school.
• Evaluate and focus their career interests.
• Build friendships with students from other universities.
• Enhance written and oral technical communication skills.
