We are actually a large coalition of students, community members and faculty who want to make Clemson more sustainable and competitive in the state and the nation. We care, we are active and we are committed! We are the backbone of all things sustainable at Clemson.
Clemson Sustainable Agriculture Program
The Clemson Sustainable Agriculture Program coordinates sustainable agriculture training and education programs for farmers, agriculture professionals and others with an interest in sustainable agriculture. The Program is supported by the USDA Sustainable Agriculture Research & Education (SARE) Program, and funds are used to organize workshops, classes and other activities on topics related to sustainable agriculture, organic farming and local foods. Clemson Student Organic Farm
The Clemson Student Organic Farm located on campus in the Clemson Bottoms is a resource for teaching and research in sustainable/organic agriculture production and marketing. In addition to teaching and research, the farm produces a diversity of certified organic vegetables, fruit, herbs and cut flowers that are sold to the public at the Farm Market (held each Wednesday afternoon during the season) and through a Community Supported Agriculture program where members pay a fee and receive weekly shares of produce. We are a community-based group in Clemson, SC that supports eating local foods. Together we exchange information, engage in discussion, and support each other in finding fresh local produce, meat, and dairy products in the Clemson, SC area.

Carolina Farm Stewardship Association's mission is to promote sustainable agriculture in the Carolinas by inspiring, educating and organizing farmers and consumers. Our events include Farm&Garden Tours, On-Farm Dinners and our annual Sustainable Agriculture Conference. CFSA envisions a regional food system that is good for our farmers, good for our families, and good for our land.
