Campus and Community Relations

Duties:

The charge of the Campus Relations Committee is to monitor the University community’s perceptions of athletic program issues. The duties of this Committee include but are not limited to the following:

  1. Recommending policies and procedures to the Athletic Council concerning the areas under its charge.
  2. As directed and approved by the Council, designing and conducting surveys of the University community to determine perceptions of athletic program issues, and reporting the results of such surveys to Council.
  3. Making recommendations based on the results of such surveys for position statements to Council.
  4. Summarizing the approved minutes of the Council for publication in the appropriate University media as directed by Council.
  5. Conducting research projects in specific areas as charged and reporting the result and recommendations of such projects to the Council.

These duties were approved by the Athletic Council at the May 7, 2003 meeting and are set forth in Attachment 1 to the meeting minutes.
