Fiscal Integrity and Facility Planning
Duties:
The overall charge of the Fiscal Integrity and Facilities Planning Committee is to monitor and report on the fiscal policies of the Clemson University Athletic Department and its facilities plans. The duties of the Committee include but are not necessarily limited to the following:
- Gathering information about proposed facilities planning and management policies and forwarding them to the Athletic Council for review and comment.
- Reviewing and assessing annually the Athletic Department's fiscal integrity. This is not an audit function, rather a review of current and long-range fiscal planning in light of economic conditions and trends, as well as sport competition factors. (External and internal fiscal influences).
- Providing advice about conducting research projects relative to the fiscal integrity and facilities planning status in specific areas, as charged, and reporting the result of such projects to the Council.
These duties were approved by the Athletic Council at the May 7, 2003 meeting and are set forth in Attachment 1 to the meeting minutes.
