Cross-Cultural Awareness
There is one competency that must be addressed to successfully complete the Cross-Cultural Awareness area. A few examples of where you can find evidence to address this competency include but are not limited to essays from courses, reflections on campus speakers' issues, work in courses designed as cross-cultural and materials from study abroad.
The objective that should be addressed:
- Develop an understanding of world cultures in historical and contemporary perspectives.
- Recognize the importance of language in cultural contexts.
