ePortfolio Tools & Training

There are a number of tools that can be used for ePortfolio creation. You are not limited to the tools listed below, but they should provide you with a good place to start. You should also consult with your instructor or other designated person to determine any specific requirements that may apply to your ePortfolios.

How shall I save scanned work?

If you are scanning pictures, then JPG is the best format. If you are scanning graphics that do not have too many colors, then it is better to save it as GIF. Along with the PNG format, JPG and GIF can be displayed on the web. Web browsers are not capable of displaying any other format. Please use the mentioned (esp. JPG or GIF)formats to save the images you scanned for the web.
