ESP Summer Curriculum

ESP Students are required to enroll in a prescribed curriculum of courses during the summer. These courses fit into most majors offered at Clemson.

PYSCH 275 – Psychology of Transportation:
Introduces psychological principles used to study human behavior (methodological, cognitive, perceptual, etc.) These psychological principles, in addition to ethical, legal, and societal perspective, are applied to transportation issues. This is an excellent class, taught by one of the world's best professors!!

COMM 250 – Public Speaking:
Practical instruction in public speaking; practice in the preparation, delivery, and criticism of short speeches. Develops an understanding and knowledge of the process of communication. Students complete a portfolio. Includes a Lab. Don't be worried, this will be an enjoyable experience!

10 Hours of ESP Study Hall:
Students will be required to attend 10 hours a week of monitored study hall during the Summer II Session. This is monitored time you'll spend studying each day... it's important that students have this experience to develop the foundation for time management, organization, and academic responsibility.
