ALTERNATIVES TO PANSIES FOR THE WINTER LANDSCAPE

Home landscapes often become worn and battered looking following summer's heat and this sparks home owner Interest in rejuvenating beds with new vigorous color and texture for fall and winter. Traditionally the plants of choice have been limited to pansies, violas and snapdragons, as these seemed to be the most available in local garden centers. But now the list of available winter annuals has grown considerably and home owners are limited only by their imagination and pocket book.  Click the box below to see some of the alternative plants to the pansy.
