They’ll give my arms to the army Take my eyes of blue Give my knees to the needy But my heart goes out to you
They’ll give my wrists to a ‘aristocrat It’s crazy but true They’ll give my hands to the handyman But my heart goes out to you
They’ll give my ears to the eerie It’s scary but true The rest can go to science But my heart goes out to YOU
NATURE
Mother Nature’s creations combined . They’re all around us . The rushing waters are no match for the soothing , cool breeze that the wind has to offer . Trees and grass sway and dance to the music of the sky . The clouds swim above us like a submarine on the ocean blue. Cars and people can’t even dare touch the fine line between peace , and the loud world of busy beings . While Mother Nature does her job , I do mine , I listen to her gentle song combining all her creations . So take the time to smell the flowers , or float with the butterflies . Let nature take you on a journey through our beautiful world .
Bubbles float up from my lips as I fly up to the surface . My hair as salty as what I’m in . I breath in the aroma of fish in the dark waters . I check my hands for any shells I might find . Nothing . I glide down farther, but still I find nothing. I go down to find a sunken ship at the bottom. T get closer and in it, I find pictures of 5 sailors in their best uniforms. I push them back and swim up. As soon as I touch the calm surface, my tail is gone. I run up to the sandy beach and lie down, because another discovery awaits me tomorrow...
“ Today, I’m going to the barber shop,” said Cori on her way out the door. “I’m gonna talk to Mr. McGee.” She skipped over to the shop. Cori is a tall, brunette, freckle-faced, blue-eyed girl in the 7th grade. She is 14 and she loves to read. When she reached the shop, Mr. McGee opened the door to the shop and said, “Welcome Cori, doing fine today?” “Yep,” she says, looking back at him. He lifts her into the chair and snips away. When he’s done, she walks out with a sucker in her hand.
*3 years later*
17 years old, Cori walks into the shop to find not only Mr. McGee, but a tall brunette, freckle-faced, green-eyed boy with a nametag saying Nicholas. She had applied for a job a year ago and just realized that she’d be working with him!! She thought, I’m so lucky because he kind of cute! A month passed and they became friends.
*2 years later*
Nicholas and Cori met up at college, who knew! They both went to Georgia tech. 1 year later, they were married! Cori had a pair of twins, one boy and one girl named Piper Ann and Hunter Chris. The happy family settled in Gatlinburg, Tennessee and stayed there until Piper and Hunter moved out, got married, and had their own kids. As the story goes on, the family gets bigger...
