Temptation

When I see that shiny brown wrapper catching my eye on the candy isle, I stop. The temptation is overwhelming. I must sneak a peek. When I see all 30 of them snuggling in that big box, I start to wonder. Oh the chocolate nestled inside that dark paper covering. What if life didn’t have a treat like this… what would I do? Hmm, maybe I should sneak it in to the cart, I'm sure mom would never know.  But my thoughts are interrupted by a loud chomping noise, then I realize that I have already taken a bite.
