Hi everyone! Welcome to my page! I’m twelve years old and these are some of my poems. I love writing poetry, and fiction. I also like music. I’m often writing a story and composing  music at the same time.  Writing is my favorite thing to do, so I hope you enjoy reading what I have here! =D

Do you know?

,Do you know how I feel,
What I go through each day?
All the sleep I miss, while you're away?
Do you know what I think of,
When you're standing right there?
What I want to say, to tell you, to share?
Do you know what I want,
What thought makes me quiver?
To be with you always, forever and ever?
Do you know how hard it is,
To make you understand me?
I need to let you know, to make you see
My feelings for you, forever to be.

The River

It flows melodiously,
Each ripple increases its beauty.
Quiet, yet growing louder,
The river washes over me.
I become drenched in the cool water
That refreshes my soul.
I become one with the river,
Another ripple following along with the rest.
We are one;
We make up the river;
I am overwhelmed with joy
When a waterfall is in sight.
We drip;
We fall;
We grow quiet once more.
More ripples join,
But some are gone.
The river stops flowing.
I am released from its power.
I walk alongside it,
And then it moves once more.
I jump back inside
And am overwhelmed yet again.
Another journey,
Another ripple,
I am not finished.
My soul is refreshed once more,
As the river flows along.
The cool waves fulfill my passion.
Another waterfall grows near.
We drip,
We fall,
And the river grows quiet once more.
My journey goes on and on,
I am a ripple
In The River.

The Army

They creep along silently
In perfectly straight lines.
Taking steps simultaneously,
Moving at the same time.

Their armor glinting in the sun,
Their uniforms all the same kind.
Their gazes aimed straight at you,
Their purpose, in their minds.

This army is like no other.
They aren't out to fight.
My army is a special one,
They are pieces of my heart.

Red and gold, advancing quickly,
To tell you how I feel.
Because I can't do it myself,
I'll tell you with something real.

Close

Right there
In front of me
You lean back
Unknowing.
A chill
Runs down my back.
It's your fault.
You did this.
I sit
With you right there
Oblivious
To how I feel.

Sometimes

Sometimes it hurts even more
To have you next to me
Than when you're far away
Because of how you make me feel.

 

Somehow

Somehow,
Even though you
Always see me,
You'll Never understand me...

A Symphony  of Sounds

Sounds fill the air
First as soft whispers
Then growing into music
Flowing into your ears
Then getting louder and
Louder until it bursts
Up through the sky and
Rings in your head
A symphony of sounds

Happiness Like the Sun

Happiness rises and sets;

Filling you with warmth and energy,

Then settling down and giving you a smile.

Happiness shines brightly;

Warming your heart,

Bringing light to your world.

Happiness is shared by everyone;

Flowing through you,

Spreading to others through a grin.

Happiness is always there;

It never leaves,

Happiness like the sun.

 

Time In Nature

Flowing,

Untouched and isolated,

Like a current in a river,

Searching for meaning.

Falling,

Swiftly and steadily,

Like a leaf from a tree,

Reaching its end.

Forever,

Going without stopping,

Like the universe around us,

Stuck in a void.
