Text Box: The Little House

Text Box: The  cabin that sits upon the hill  by
The river is full of love.  Is  full
Of heart.
Or once was.
Now the little house sits alone on the
River bank.
Sadly watching the river,  letting  time pass.
And the clouds roll by, people come and go,
Yet never once glance at the  little house.
The house that once was full of laughter,
Full of  joy, full of family
Is gone
The house that once was,
Is now not.
The little house that held the big, joyful,
Loud, fun family is gone.
The laughter and joy and spirit of the little house.
Gone. Because that family kept on growing, and the little house was too small.
And that family left– moved.
And abandoned the little house.
They left it.
For something else. For something better,
They thought.
But they were wrong.
Because nothing could be better than that little house.
That sad, little house. That  just watches
The river. And waits for someone else to come along.
That little house that just  waits.
Just waits.
