Introduction
One afternoon on a drowsy day of rain, young Alex was tired and bored. Alex was only 3 feet tall; he had brown eyes and dark brown hair; Alex was 5 years old at the time this happened. One of his favorite things to do was to pull pranks on anybody and everybody.
He spotted a scratch piece of paper on the floor that had fallen off of his dad’s office desk. “Oh, I know what I can do!” Alex said while sitting on the couch. “Now all I weed to do is fink how I am going to do it.” So he picked up a crayon and began to plan!
Alex had fallen asleep with the paper and crayon in hand. When morning came his little brother, Jonathan, was the first to wake up. Jonathan was simply three years old, and as we all know… when the baby is awake he expects everybody to be conscious. He woke Alex up screaming to the top of his lungs.
“Awex pwease wake up!” Jonathan pleaded.
“What?” Alex asked.
“I just wanted wou to wake up!”
“Hey!”
“Boys” their mom said.
“Stop fighting this instance!” she continued
Jonathan started to cry and ran to his room. “Cwy baby.” Alex screamed. Alex then noticed the piece of paper was still on his lap. “What was I gowin’ to do with this?” He asked himself when he saw the crayon and paper in his hand. Owh yeah! This will be funny!
He saw his mom drinking her daily cup of coffee. He though to himself.
“I can’t wit to see the look on her face!” Alex said.
“The look on my face for what?” His mom asked.
“Nofin” he said nervously.
His mom thought in her head,” I know what he is up to! He is going to put one of his stupid little rubber snakes or lizards in my bed again.” But this time she was very wrong. He had come up with something even better this time. Some would even call him a MASTERMIND for what he had come up with.
Chapter Two:
The idea
Alex wrote on his piece of paper, what his idea was, how he was going to do it, and what time he planned to do it. Here’s what the paper said:
.
I have to admit this kid has a pretty good plan here. Although his hand writing his pretty messy. Alex was going to start his plan the first thing the next morning, this was so he could get a hold of Jonathan. Some way some how he was going to do it, and how he did it you will never know until you read the next chapter.
Chapter three:
Getting a hold of Jonathan
The next morning Alex woke up at 7:00 just to complete what he hadn’t yesterday. What he hadn’t done was getting a hold of Jonathan and making him listen to every word he was saying.
After he was up and moving around good he quietly and slowly went to Jonathan’s room. He didn’t notice that one of Jonathan’s toy cars was on the floor and he tripped over it almost starting to cry. But then he remembered that he was in Jonathan’s room and couldn’t make a sound because Jonathan is a very light sleeper. So one little noise could wake him up.
Here is something that I need to explain. Jonathan is three right? Right. So he thought that he had to have a big boy bed. This made Alex’s job a lot easier. This was because the bed was very short and so was Alex.
By the way have I told you what Alex’s job is? Probably not. Well, anyway his job is to take Jonathan’s favorite stuffed animal out from under his arm. So Alex slowly slipped the stuffed animal out from under Jonathan’s arm.
Jonathan suddenly woke up. Alex ducked behind the little of bed that Jonathan had.
“Squiggles?” Jonathan asked whispering.
Alex held up the stiffed animal.
“Hello Jonathan.” Alex said pretending to be squiggles.
“ How are you doing today?” Alex asked.
“ Me be better if wou would get back in the bed. Jonathan replied.
“ I can’t!”
“Why not?”
“I am going to Alex’s room”
“Why?”
“You will know if you close your eyes and count to seven!”
So Jonathan started to count to seven. “ 1...2...3…,” He started. As soon as Jonathan started counting Alex jumped up and ran to his room. When Jonathan was done counting, he went to Alex’s room.
“Squiggles?” Jonathan asked.
“I over here Jonny Boy!” Alex imitated.
“Come get me!” Alex said.
Jonathan ran to Squiggles and grabbed him.
Alex quickly jumped out of the toy bin with his plan in hand. The time was now 7:45 and Alex only had 15 minutes to explain the whole plan to Jonathan.
“Wait!” Alex exclaimed.
“Come here!”
“Okay wou don’t have to scream at me!” Jonathan screamed.
Chapter Four:
The Idea spill
Alex told Jonathan the whole plan. Jonathan asked,
“What do me do?
“ You are supposed to stall mommy!” Alex explained.
“What does stall mean?”
“It means to slow her down!”
“Okay.” Jonathan nodded.
The time was now 7:55. It had only took Alex ten minutes to explain the whole plan to Jonathan.
Chapter five:
Taking Action
The time was now 8:00. It was the time for the two young boys’ mom to wake up (even though she did not have to be there until 10:30). It was also the time for the prank to be completed.
The boys headed downstairs to the big box (A.K.A the refrigerator) to begin their prank. But before they did so Alex and Jonathan had set out all of Jonathans trucks trains and toys in the middle of the hallway. Jonathan had to sit right in the middle of all of them.
Their mom walked out the door. “Jonathan! There has to be at least on hundred toys out in the hallway! I will help you pick them up and then I will help you clean your room!” she exclaimed.
Alex was standing on the first step of the second hallway listening to every word that was said. “Yes!” he exclaimed while running down the hallway.
Alex grabbed the flour, sugar, the plastic cup, and the big bowl. He ran in to the dining room, he poured the all of the flour into the big bowl. He then dumped the sugar into the flour bag. Then he dumped the flour into the sugar bag. It was like it went perfect. Until the dad CAME down stairs.
Chapter 6:
The oh no! That Daddy doesn’t spill!
“What on this earth are you doing?” The dad asked.
“I will only tell ya,” Alex began, “Only if you don’t tell mommy.”
“Okay,” dad said. “I’m planning to pull a prank of mommy.”
“Okay,” the dad replied to what he thought was ridiculous.
“I’m swittin the flour and sugar so she will put flour in her cream instead of sugar.” Alex explained.
The dad thought to himself, “That’s actually not a bad plan. I would like to see this happen.” The dad then said,” Okay son I won’t tell your mom. I would actually like to see this happen!” he exclaimed.
Chapter 7:
Ready! Set! Prank!
When Alex had finished doing everything he had to do, he quickly put everything back in its place. The big bowl in the sink, the plastic cup on the counter ( to use for unhealthy coffee beans), the 2 containers in the big box ( A.K.A. the refrigerator), and then himself (which he belongs in the living room).
When Alex got settled, his mom and Jonathan came down the steps with Jonathan on one of mommy’s feet. “Pwease don’t go downsters!” Jonathan screamed.
“Oh great,” Alex whispered. “Oh wait a second I don’t have to worry about anything anymore.” Alex’s mommy was finally able to get Jonathan off of her.
She walked into the kitchen. She got out the flour and sugar and said, “Oh, I wonder if someone’s switched the flour and sugar.” She then poured the containments in the flour bag into the coffee that Alex and his dad made.
She then held up the piece of paper Alex had put the prank plan on. “I found this in the hallway,” She said.
“I…I didn’t do it,” Alex shrugged.
“Sure.” His mom stared.
“Ok – I – I did it.”
“I know you did. I’m not as dumb as you think I am,” Mom glared.
She looked at the paper and said, “Go to your room.”
Alex walked up the stairs to his room with his mom and Jonathan following him. His mom locked the outside of the door so he couldn’t get out.
Revenge
Alex went and jumped on his bed. Sitting there he wondered what he could do. He saw a piece of paper on the floor…revenge!
