Planes and Trains
The international airport at Greenville/Spartanburg is 45 minutes (45 miles) from Clemson. This airport is serviced by Allegianit Air, American Eagle, Continental Airlines, Delta, Northwest Airlines, United Express and US Airways. The airports in Atlanta and Charlotte are each around a two-hour drive from the University. Clemson is easily accessible off of Interstate 85 (10-minute drive). An AMTRAK station is also located in Clemson with daily S.C. sheduled service.
To Littlejohn Coliseum for Graduation and Basketball
From the North (from Charlotte, N.C.: 2.5 hours; Greenville, S.C.: 1 hour)
Take I-85 south to exit #19B (Hwy. 76/28 west). Exit toward Clemson University. Follow Hwy. 76/28 west for approximately 12 miles (through 8 traffic lights), and exit off onto Hwy. 93 south towards Clemson University. TOnce on Hwy. 93, travel approximately 1.5miles to the sixth traffic light. Take a left onto Perimeter Road, follow signs for Coliseum Parking.
From the South (from Atlanta, Ga.: 2.5 hours)
Take I-85 north to exit #14 (Hwy. 187). Turn left onto Hwy. 187 toward Pendleton, and proceed approximately six miles until the highway ends at Hwy. 76/28 (at the traffic light). Turn left and follow Hwy 76/28 west for approximately 6 miles, and exit off onto Hwy 93 south toward Clemson University. Once on Hwy. 93, travel approximately 1.5 miles to the sixth traffic light. Take a left onto Perimeter Road, follow signs for Coliseum Parking.
To Memorial Stadium (Football)
From the North (from Charlotte, N.C.: 2.5 hours; Greenville, S.C.: 1 hour)
Take I-85 south to exit #19B (Hwy. 76/28 west). Exit toward Clemson University. Follow Hwy. 76/28 west for approximately 12 miles (through 7 traffic lights), and exit off onto Hwy. 93 south toward Clemson University. Once on Hwy. 93, travel approximately .5 miles to the first traffic light. Follow signs to stadium.
From the South (from Atlanta, Ga.: 2.5 hours)
Take I-85 north to exit #14 (Hwy. 187). Turn left onto Hwy. 187 toward Pendleton, and proceed approximately six miles until the highway ends at Hwy. 76/28 (at the traffic light).
