Establish a visible applied research program focusing on weed management issues in corn, cotton, peanut, soybean, tobacco, small grains, and wild-life food plots.
Focus on utilizing the latest cultural, chemical, and technological developments to determine the most effective weed management plans. Special emphasis will be placed on finding the most economical programs which allow for long term sustainability of agriculture in South Carolina.
