2. Wildlife Society- SC Chapter Winter Meeting

3. Deer Damage Control Teleconference

4. South Carolina 4-H Habitat Evaluation for Youth Contest

April 4,1998, to be announced. Competition of youth teams, ages 13-18 across the state. Youth compete on various topics related to wildlife and their habitats. Contact your local county Extension Office, or Candace Cummings @864/656-7146.

5. Host for National Habitat Evaluation Contest

July 27-August 2, 1998. National contest host to be held in Clemson, SC. State winning teams from across the nation will be here to compete for the National prize. Contact Candace Cummings@864/656-7146.

6. Wildlife Management Workshop for Teachers

July, 1998, Webb Wildlife Center, Garnett, SC. College credit offered for public school teachers in SC. Pre-registration is required. Call Billy Dukes, SCDNR @803/734-3609.
