Registration Opening Date
Camp registration is open for the 2008 camp season.

Early Bird Registration
Register by Saturday, March 15, 2008, and get a $25 discount

Returning Camper?
If your child was a camper at any of our camps in 2007 (Sewee, Voyager, Wildlife or 4-H Camp), he or she will automatically receive the returning camper discount of $35.

Fees for Camp
The cost of the program is $495 per week.  Group games the campers play.A deposit of $100 is applied to total camp fees and, along with the pre-registration form, reserves your child's place in the program. Fees include all activities, lodging, meals, instruction and supervision, limited medical insurance, canteen, and a T-Shirt. We do take monthly payments and the final payment must be paid three (3) weeks before your week of camp starts.

Age:
Camper's age must be between 10-14 by the start of camp.

Paintball:
There will be one session of paintball per camper which is included in the cost of camp. Protective goggles/masks will be provided for the camper as well as the paintball gun. Please do not bring your own paintball guns. We do not want anything to happen to them or anyone get hurt by them. A signed permission form must be on file at the camp for the camper to participate. Required Paperwork
Upon receipt of the registration form and deposit, we will send the applicant

  • a map
  • information materials
  • a Camper Information Form (which includes Permission Form, Health Form, Medical Statement, Discipline Policy)
  • a list of things to bring to camp.

The Camper Information Form must be returned to the Youth Learning Institute three (3) weeks prior to the start date of camp session your child(ren) is attending. It must be on file for your child(ren) to participate in camp. Your child(ren) will not be able to attend camp without this form.

Health Form
A Health Form is required on each camper attending Camp Voyager.  This form is part of the Camper Information Form. It includes a statement by a health examiner that the camper is physically able to participate in camp. Your wellness check or any health examination done within the last 24 months can be used to meet this requirement. An examination from your County Health Department will also meet this requirement.

Deadline
Registration for Camp Voyager closes two (2) weeks prior to each session or when capacity is reached. Last year several of our weeks filled early.

Refunds
Refunds will be issued (except the non-refundable $100 deposit) when requested in writing at least two (2) weeks prior to the start of the camp session. No refunds will be issued within two (2) weeks of the start of camp or after camp starts.

Final Payment and Paperwork Due
The final payment and all paperwork is due at the Youth Learning Institute 3 (three) weeks before camp starts.
