The R.M. Cooper 4-H Leadership Center is located on a 110-acre peninsula on Lake Marion near Summerton, SC, only 15 miles from Interstate 95 (see detailed map).

When you arrive at the Center, you'll find lodging and dining facilities on the shores of half-mile wide Wyboo Creek. There are large recreational areas for basketball, beach volleyball, softball and football, as well as classroom space for meetings. Whether you’re interested in nature hikes, adventure courses or a quiet paddleboat ride, there are plenty of opportunities to spend quality time outdoors.

But our amenities don’t stop there. The Reid Fairey Center is a large gymnasium with ample floor space and classrooms. Our incredible climbing tower and three ropes courses are vital parts of our team-building and adventure programming. Our huge waterfront area features a water slide and ample deck space, with plenty of floating docks for rowing, fishing or just relaxing.
