4-H Summer Camp

A South Carolina tradition for over 50 years, 4-H Summer Camp offers traditional camp activities with plenty of fun, friends and adventure! Younger, first-time campers can enjoy 4-H Mini-Camp, a shorter session packed with all the fun. 4-H Summer Camp is held at Camp Bob Cooper in Summerton, situated on a 110-acre peninsula on beautiful Lake Marion. Facilities include air-conditioned dorm rooms, a full-service dining facility, waterfront area with multiple docks and a water slide, gymnasium, nature trails and a climbing tower. You do not have to be a member of 4-H to attend this camp.

Why Choose YLI?

Since 1934, parents from SC, NC, GA and beyond have entrusted their most precious possessions—more than 333,000 kids overall—to YLI summer camps, as well as other youth development programs. We offer great camps at a great value, a high level of staff training and expertise, and a true desire to help young people develop the friendships, responsibility, self-confidence and creativity they need to succeed in all areas of life.
