R.M. Cooper 4-H Leadership Center


Whether it’s summer camp, church or corporate groups, special needs programs or professional development, thousands of memories have been made over the years at Camp Bob Cooper, formally known as the R.M. Cooper 4-H Leadership Center. One of South Carolina’s best-known camp, conference and retreat locations, Camp Bob Cooper is located on a 110-acre peninsula on the beautiful shores of Lake Marion. The combination of warm southern weather, a rustic yet beautiful setting, and a complete range of modern amenities makes it a popular site for year-round programming for all ages, from school children to retirees.

Site features include waterfront activities, three outdoor adventure courses, a climbing tower, recreation fields, gymnasium, rifle range, ATV track, computer lab and accommodations for up to 650 including air-conditioned lodging, meeting spaces, Wi-Fi, canteen (available with advance notice) and a full-service dining facility.
