Teaching KATE
Clemson University’s Youth Learning Institute, in partnership with the Coalition for Natural Resource Education is gearing up for their 12th year of Teaching KATE (Teaching Kids About The Environment).

E-Tech
Our newest program, "E-Tech" for "Environmental Technology," was designed to enhance our popular natural resource education program through the integration of modern high tech tools and softweare. Elementary and middle school students and teachers benefit from this program with increased computer skills and a better understanding of the world around us.

Schools from all parts of South Carolina and Georgia, such as Boiling Springs Elementary (Spartanburg), Richmond Drive Elementary (York), North Hartsville Elementary are scheduled to attend Teaching KATE this school year. In the program’s history, over 50,000 youth and adults have participated in the Teaching KATE and E-Tech program.

Teaching KATE and E-Tech begins its fall season on September and ends November. The schedule for both the fall and spring seasons are filling up quickly. Spring session starts in March.

We will be happy to arrange a visit to your school, or give you a guided tour of our site!
