Youth Learning Institute

The Clemson University Cooperative Extension Service and the Youth Learning Institute would like to offer you a position with our Teaching KATE and E-Tech Program as an Environmnetal Education Instructor to 4-8th graders in the area of forestry, wildlife, soils and water. Also must have a good understanding of computers. Our site located in South Carolina is R.M. Cooper 4-H Leadership Center in Summerton, South Carolina.

Qualifications

  • Must be a role model and have commitment to environmental education.
  • Must be flexible, caring, and must have a genuine interest in children.
  • Must have leadership and teaching skills. Bachelors degree in environmental education, natural science, eduction, biology, forestry, geology, or related field preferred; or equivalent experience.
  • Also willing to offer internship opportunities.
