Policy: Architect and Engineer Selection for Projects Exceeding $1,000,000

For all University construction projects exceeding $1,000,000 in cost, a committee shall be convened to select the project architects and engineers. Composition of the Architect and Engineer Selection Committee shall be as follows:

Campus Master Planner

End Users of the Project: End user Vice President (VP) and end user selected by the VP (if more than one VP is an end user of the project, then each arm will participate as noted)

Director, Construction Services

Project Manager (for project from Construction Services)

Member, Board of Trustees (appointed by Chairman)

VP for Business and Finance (chair)- - (Now titled Chief Financial Officer)

As noted above, the VP for Business and Finance will chair the Selection Committee.
