Clemson University provides a variety of communications, marketing and public relations services to University departments through University Relations. Award-winning professional staff members help departments recruit students; generate awareness of their programs; develop marketing campaigns for special events such as groundbreakings, anniversaries and symposia; generate media coverage; place by-lined guest editorials; develop promotional materials; and manage internal and external media coverage during emergency situations.

In addition to leadership of these units, University Relations staff members provide strategic planning in marketing and communications, crisis communications support, executive speechwriting, community relations and other executive-level communications support.
