Policy on Upper-Level Transfer Credits

Students must keep in mind that in order to seek upper-level business credit (3000/4000-level) through a third-party or exchange study abroad program for courses with the rubrics of ACCT, BUS, ELE, FIN, LAW, MGT, and MKT, transfer credits will only be accepted from AACSB International and/or EQUIS accredited institutions.

The Office of Career and Global Engagement maintains a list of all the third-party and direct enrollment study abroad programs accredited by the AACSB International and/or EQUIS. As part of the study abroad application process, students seeking to transfer credit will be required to seek pre-approval of the course equivalencies from the designated advisor in each department.

While students wishing to transfer credit for economics and lower-level (1000/2000-level) business courses will not be required to choose an institution that has AACSB and/or EQUIS accreditation, they may also use this list to narrow down program options.
