Wall Street South Club

The focus of this organization is to gain hands-on experience in trading securities and managing an investment portfolio. The Wall Street South Club uses a global portfolio simulation which is a comprehensive trading simulation featuring stocks, bonds, mutual funds, options, futures and international stocks. Student members will receive $100,000 of hypothetical money in a brokerage account for the fall and spring semesters to trade and manage.

Past Activities/Presenters: Portfolio management simulation (ongoing), trading room sessions (Bloomberg Financial Markets), guest speakers (various portfolio managers and analysts, CFAs, companies such as Vanguard, SunTrust/Truist, and more!) and an end of year lunch/celebration.

When Club meets: 4-5 times a semester, announced ahead of time. Unlimited access to portfolio and trading room as a member.

Annual Dues: $20 annual (subject to change)

How to Join: Fall only, junior/senior standing preferred; all business majors welcome.
